The Reasons to Not Train

There are a couple of reasons that Six Sigma Certification may not be a good idea. The first is because of turnover. Companies have a high employee turnover rate most of the time. Every time a new employee starts, they may have to reinvest more money to certify the new employee in Six Sigma.

Another reason that it may not be a good idea is that the company could invest a lot of money into their training, and the employees may not take it seriously. This may make the whole process a waste of time and maybe even a waste of budgeted money.  The key to not allowing this to happen is employee incentive programs.

Any company that is looking into six sigma certification may want to think through their options in order to make sure that it’s going to be a good choice for the company that they have. The last thing that they want to do is spend money on things that are not going to benefit from in the long run.
