SCL is pleased to bring you Robert O. Martichenko, an authority in Lean logistics, as the keynote address to launch the Research Forum on May 8th. Mr. Martichenko has 15 years of transportation, consulting and third party logistics experience which includes multiple Lean Logistics implementations, supporting successful organizations such as Maytag Appliances and the "greenfield" start-up of Toyota Motor Manufacturing.
In addition to years of logistics experience, he is also co-author of "Lean Six Sigma Training Logistics". Currently Mr. Martichenko is an active instructor for global programs offered by the Lean Enterprise Institute and Saint Louis University – John Cook School of Business.
In his keynote address entitled "The Lean Supply Chain: Separating Fact from Fiction and the Long Journey Ahead!" Robert Martichenko will explore the relationship between Lean, Six Sigma training, Logistics and Supply Chain Management. In a practical and informative manner, he will address Lean and Six Sigma training history, philosophy, tools and techniques.
At the end of his lecture, you too will understand how to apply Lean and Six Sigma training to logistics and supply chain in order to eliminate waste in your organization.
