It can be scary to face something new, no matter what it is, and when it's something that has raised as much hype as the Six Sigma Process, it can be downright terrifying. Given all the misinformation and misguided truth that have been published about the process, companies should inherently understand that support is going to be critical to the success of the organization, but is not going to be easy to get.

Once you have determined that Six Sigma Projects are the correct solution to your process improvement needs, you are ready to start hammering out the details of your project. If you remember anything from your Six Sigma training, you know that the first step of this process is to work to gain the support of all the invested parties. While this might not be easy, it is something that has to be done. This is why it is important to sit down and discuss the situation with everyone in the organization or company, so that everyone is on the same page and can understand what is about to take place. Anyone who has completed a Six Sigma Process in their business will usually be able to tell you how critical that support is to success.
